Ndidi pays tribute to late Leicester City owner

It's one year ago that Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha lost his life in a plane crash and midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has paid tribute to the late administrator.

On October 27, 2018, a helicopter crashed shortly after take-off from the King Power Stadium- the home ground of Leicester- killing all five people on board, including the club’s Thai billionaire owner Srivaddhanaprabha.

As Leicester City begins his one-year remembrance, a moment of silence was observed before their 2-1 victory against Burnley on Saturday.

Ndidi took to his twitter account after the victory over Burnley and posted a tribute photo with the message “Forever in our hearts 💙... 3points”.

The Nigerian international joined the former Premier League champions during the reign of the Thai billionaire for around £17m from Genk in 2016.

He has scored two goals for Leicester this season.
