Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola believes both Chelsea and Arsenal will challenge for top honours in the English Premier League this season.
Liverpool are the frontrunners in the current campaign and just like last season, are thought to be the only side capable of pushing Guardiola's side to the end.
The Spaniard, however, sees a lot of improvement from the two London sides, who are moving from strength to strength every week.
"What Liverpool are doing is fantastic but Chelsea and Arsenal are also getting better," Guardiola told The Gurdian. "The level is rising all the time,"
"We’ll just have to try and do what we can, we have 50 games left in all competitions. I’m not concerned about being the guy who thinks he’s going to win every Premier League for the rest of his life,"
"Of course, I still want to win, and I still believe we are contenders, but there is a long way to go and all sorts of dynamics, momentums and injuries still to happen. If we don’t win I will say congratulations to the team that does,"
Chelsea have put early-season struggles behind them and seem to be finding some rhythm under Frank Lampard, and recorded their fifth straight win in all competition against Newcastle on Saturday to move into the top four.
Arsenal, on the other hand, have also remained consistent in the last couple of weeks and will hope to continue with their good run when they face Sheffield United on Monday night.
They are currently fifth, but a win will see them jump above their London rivals.
