Unai Emery hits out at Arsenal fans ahead of Leicester City clash

Unai Emery has slammed Arsenal fans for lacking patience after their burst up with Granit Xhaka in the 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace.

Xhaka was booed off after his substitution and reacted by capping his ear and shouting "f**k off" to the fans before taking off his jersey off and storming off the pitch.

Arsenal are in a rough patch of form having won just one of their last five games and face a daunting task away to Leicester City on Saturday.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of the Leicester clash, Emery hit out at Arsenal fans, "I think, for the supporters, they have seen that their team needs more to improve to achieve the best results. I can and I want to say to them: they must have patience.

"In some circumstances, they did not help us but we are trying to achieve the best emotional balance with the players."
