Granit Xhaka fires back at Unai Emery and discusses his future at Arsenal

After Unai Emery had doubts of Granit Xhaka featuring for Arsenal again, the midfielder has rubbished the manager's claims as he discussed his future at the club.

Xhaka had a burst up with Arsenal fans after they booed him as he was substituted in the 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace and responded by capping his ear and shouting "f**k off" to the fans.

The Swiss midfielder has not featured for Arsenal since then with Emery having doubts whether he will play for Arsenal again, " I don’t know if he’s going to play [for us] again."

In an interview with Blick, Xhaka disagreed with Emery's comments about him 'not feeling good enough to play', "You can be sure that I’ll keep fighting and putting myself out there in every training session. I feel that last week has been dealt with and now I’m ready.

Xhaka also discussed his future amid rumors that Arsenal are willing to offload him in January, "For me, looking back it’s been very positive for a long time.

"After a difficult start, I played a lot and overall I’ve had a great time at Arsenal. My family and I also feel very well in the city of London. The events of the last week don’t change that at all."
