English Championship side Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara in the January transfer window, Football Insider revealed.
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has exclaimed that he is prepared to welcome massive offers for Kamara when the transfer window officially opens for business.
A Leeds source allegedly told Football Insider that Kamara has been attracting interest from several clubs and that there were agents who came to monitor his performance during Rangers' 2-0 victory against Porto in the UEFA Europa League.
The Finland international made a name for himself with an impressive display on the night to inspire the Ibrox outfit to the Europa League knockout stages.
Leeds are believed to be highly considering Kamara in the next summer window instead of January 2020, that is if any of their loan players are recalled.
Rangers signed the former Arsenal academy ace for £50,000 in January 2019 after he had reportedly downsized his contract at Dundee.
However, reports have emerged that his value has increased immensely and he is now on £8million since joining the Glasgow side.
Kamara has rejuvenated his career in Scotland after Arsenal released him back in 2017 where he made one mere appearance for the Gunners.
He has gone on to be a prominent player for Rangers, dominating the midfield along Steven Davis as well as Ryan Jack.
The 24-year-old has made 20 appearances this season and has made a total of 36 since he arrived at the club in January.
