Brighton & Hove Albion defender Shane Duffy has rated fellow centre-back Leon Balogun as the player who is capable to step up for the team, The Argus revealed.
Lewis Dunk will not be available for selection after he accumulated his fifth yellow card for the season after the side suffered a 3-1 loss against Manchester United.
Furthermore, Adam Webster will not be in the squad as he has already been on the sidelines for a month after he sustained an ankle injury during the side's win against Norwich City.
It now seems like Nigeria international Balogun will be the viable option at the heart of defence as the side needs a strong wall to take on the Foxes.
“We have got good depth in the squad and everyone wants to play, so that is why the gaffer has been great by keeping everyone ready," Duffy exclaimed.
“The lads who have playing having been doing well so a lot of players have been waiting.
“That is why you have a good squad and that’s what we have built to buy the players.
“Whoever does get the chance to play hopefully they can take their chance as everyone is fighting for the shirt.”
The 31-year-old has only made one appearance for Brighton this season after he had been dealt with injury woes since last season.
He played a full game back in August when the Brighton beat Bristol Rovers 2-1 in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
Balogun has since struggled to make his way into the setup as there is stiff competition with the likes of Duffy, Webster, Dunk and Dan Burn respectively.
Potter will likely place Burn as a left-sided defender alongside Gaetan Bong or he could use Bernardo if he is fit to play on the day.
