Colombia international Alfredo Morelos is reportedly no longer a transfer target for Leicester City, Birmingham Live revealed.
Morelos has been Rangers' top goalscorer since he joined the Glasgow outfit even scoring his 22nd from 26 matches played in total on Sunday, November 10.
He has tallied nine goals from 12 Scottish Premiership games with his most recent cracker coming from Sunday's 2-0 away victory over Livingston.
Morelos, however, has been a target for Aston Villa who are reportedly in dire need of a striker who can step in to boost Brazil international Wesley.
On the other hand, manager Steven Gerrard has vehemently denied that the club will be selling the Colombian forward; with the sporting director Ross Wilson confirming Gerrard's sentiments on Wednesday.
Wilson said yesterday: "We want our best players to stay here as long as they possibly can.
"We understand that like every other club in world football that there comes a point when players have to move on to something else for a variety of reasons."
