Premier League champions Manchester City are interested in signing Leicester City duo Jonny Evans and Caglar Soyuncu.
Evans and Soyuncu have been outstanding for Leicester this season, helping the Foxes to gain a second spot in the Premier League standings after 12 matches. As reported by Sky Sports, the Citizens are considering bringing the pair to Etihad during the January transfer window.
However, City boss Pep Guardiola has previously insisted the club will not buy anyone in the January transfer window. Guardiola's side was keen to land Evans in 2017 from West Brom but saw a number of bids rejected before the former Manchester United defender signed for Leicester.
It remains to be seen whether Guardiola will sign a defender during the January transfer window having used midfielder Fernandinho as a center-back in place of the injured Aymeric Laporte.
