Chelsea midfielder Mason Mounts scored in stoppage time as England strolled to an easy 4-0 win over Kosovo in a UEFA Euro qualifier on Sunday 17 November.
Kosovo were proving a hard nut to crack but their rearguard was broken in the 32nd minute through Harry Winks. Oxlade-Chamberlain feinted a shoot before conjuring lovely pass to the Tottenham Hotspurs man who opened the scoring proceedings as England took a 1-0 lead at the break.
Just as in the first half, England was made to wait for their second goal with Harry Kane scoring a second for the visitor’s eleven minutes from time. England had kept the ball for long in their own half before defender Mings dinked the ball upfield, it fell to Winks who worked it with Declan Rice then Sterling who outpaced his marker who sent in a cross that was easily tapped in by the captain.
Rashford who was a substitute was to add a third seven minutes from time with a lovely goal before Mount wrapped up the scoring proceedings in stoppage time.
The win saw England storm into the pot of Euro 2020’s top seeds and this will help them avoid some of the tournament's favorites in the group stage.
