Super Eagles return to Abuja after beating Lesotho

Nigeria's senior national team has returned to the country from their trip to Lesotho.

A brace by Victor Osimhen and a goal each by Alex Iwobi and Samuel Chukwueze steered the Super Eagles to a 4-2 win over Lesotho in Maseru on Sunday.

The team has now touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Monday morning.

In a short video posted on the Super Eagles official twitter handle, players, officials and journalists were seen disembarking from the plane.

Captain Ahmed Musa, midfielder Wilfred Ndidi and defender Shehu Abdulahi are some of the players caught on camera in the video.

With six points and six goals, the Super Eagles have started this race well and strong. Home matches against Lesotho and Sierra Leone will be completed by trips to Sierra Leone and Benin Republic in the final phase of the qualifying series next year.
