Former AFC Leopards head coach Nikola Kavazovic has aimed a dig at the Kenyan Premier League branding it a "potato" League.
Kavazovic endured some tough run of form with Gaborone United this season winning only three games in their opening 10 games.
That sort of form did not sit well with the Gaborone fans who were angered by the club's run leading to the Serbian tactician to tender his resignation towards the end of last month.
Kavazovic suffered relegation with Free State Stars in the South African Premier Soccer League last season before joining Gaborone United.
The Serbian took over Leopards before the start of the 2018-2019 KPL season but failed to oversee a single game as he decamped to Free State before the start of the campaign.
In a reply to Africa Soccer Updates' November 24th Tweet, Kavazovic slammed the KPL and also cleared the air on his move from Leopards in a Tweet dated back to Tuesday, December 3.
I see haters enjoy to mention my relegation with @FreeStateStars . I didn't relegate from some "potato" league like @BTCPremiership or @KenyaPremierLg , but @OfficialPSL . And not with @KaizerChiefs , but small village club without supporters, ambitional owners, top players..— Nikola Kavazovic (@kavaz011) December 5, 2019
Now to be clear once and forever!!!— Nikola Kavazovic (@kavaz011) December 3, 2019
I never quit @AFCLeopards because of @FreeStateStars . I quit because of scam who leaded that club.
So #Kenya, stop to shit on me because of that, and find other reason to hate me.
