AC Milan forward Krzysztof Piatek has revealed that he would be honoured to play alongside former Sweden international and veteran striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Ibrahimovic has been heavily linked with a move to Milan ahead of the January transfer window, he is set to be a free agent after his contract with Major League Soccer outfit LA Galaxy expires.
Piatek, while addressing the media expressed his desire to play alongside the 38-year-old, further citing that his arrival is likely to change the dynamic of the team.
"Playing with Ibrahimovic? I would definitely want to play with him,” he said. “He is an incredible footballer. We need players at this level," as quoted by Calciomercato.
"He did well wherever he went so I would say that if he came it would be great for Milan.”
However, according to recent reports, the transfer of Ibrahimovic to Milan has reportedly been delayed due to finances as he is rumoured to be looking to be paid €10 million for an 18-month contract, while the Milan-based club is prepared to offer €6 million.
