West Ham looking at Darren Randolph, Jack Butland as goalkeeper options in January

West Ham United are reportedly weighing their options of goalkeepers as they consider a move for Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland, all while eager to bring back Darren Randolph.

West Ham have suffered a huge blow this season in terms of the goalkeeping department after Lukasz Fabianski sustained a hip injury in September and it is of utter importance to bring in another goalkeeper or two.

Bearing that in mind, the Hammers had to let Roberto Jimenez step up to the plate but he was found to not be in full fitness for the Premier League which leaves David Martin between the sticks until first-choice keeper Fabianski makes his injury return.

However, according to 90mins, West Ham have been monitoring Butland at Stoke City as a possible swoop deal ahead of the January transfer window.

It is very interesting for the Hammers to be considering after he didn't secure a Premier League move in the summer and according to the report, he might not make England's Euro 2020 squad due to some dismal errors this season.

On the other hand, West Ham have the option of Middlesbrough goalkeeper Darren Randolph who spent two years at the Hammers before he made the moke back in 2017 - BBC Sport revealed that the deal was worth £5million at the time.

It might be tricky for the East London-based club to get Randolph back as he has been an outstanding keeper in the Championship and Middlesnrpugh may not easily parts ways with their key player.
