Arsenal are trailing West Ham United by 1-0 after 45 minutes of Monday night's English Premier League game.
38th-minute goal by Angelo Ogbonna separate both sides at half time.
West Ham's first meaningful possession produced the game's first meaningful chance in the 5th minute as Felipe Anderson picked it up in bags of space between the lines and feeds Antonio. His shot from the edge of the box was a little wild.
Arsenal started defending poorly and dangerously. First, it was a West Ham player brought down inside the box in the 22nd minute, but the Gunners were able to escape without a VAR check.
Three minutes later another foul was committed at the edge of the box when Robert Snodgrass got booked by Mike Dean following his late sliding challenge on Gabriel Martinelli, but West Ham saw their cross defended away by their visitors.
Before the half-hour mark, Arsenal suffered an injury blow when Tierney went down injured inside the Gunnera box having dislocated his shoulder, he could not continue play and was replaced with Sead Kolasinac.
West Ham broke the deadlock in the 38th minute when Angelo Ogbonna's header, off a Pablo Fornals' pass, was deflected by Ainsley Maitland-Niles into his net. VAR was called in to confirm the goal and it stands.
Five minutes extra time was added but the first half ended 1-0 in favour of West Ham United.
