Aston Villa are set to travel to Bramall Lane ahead of their fixture against Sheffield United on Saturday and it has emerged that the side will be without the services of defender Tyrone Mings, Sheffield Star reported.
Mings picked up a hamstring injury during Villa's against Leicester City and according to reports he is expected to be on the sidelines until the New Year.
The Sheffield Star revealed that the test results have been kept a secret after he underwent a scan with the club's medical depart and the injury is quite serious.
Bjorn Engels has emerged as the player who will come on to replace Mings when the Villans take on the Blades.
The 25-year-old was brought to the club from Stade Reim at the end of last season; a month before Sheffield played against the Ligue 1 side in a preseason friendly.
