Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has said Achraf Hakimi has ‘a great future’ at the Bernabeu, ahead of the full-back’s return from a two-season loan spell with Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.
The Moroccan player proved himself in Germany, where he emerged as Dortmund’s first-choice right-back ahead of club stalwart Lukas Piszczek.
Delighted with the player's form, Zidane said the 21-year-old has a future at Real Madrid.
“We're happy because he's scoring goals with his team,” Zidane said at a recent press conference. “He has a great future in Real Madrid and we will see what will happen to him.”
With Alvaro Odriozola on his way out of Madrid, according to reports in Spain, Hakimi would be the perfect replacement to act as Dani Carvajal’s understudy.
