Chelsea have arrested a fan who allegedly racially abused Heung Min Son during a Premier League match against Tottenham on Sunday.
The match was marred with racial incidences, with Chelsea's Antonio Rudiger the most affected following monkey noises directed at him.
The match was halted for what while, with the announcer saying the racist behaviour was interfering with normal play.
''We are aware of an alleged incident involving a Chelsea supporter during yesterday's match, " read part of a statement from the club on Monday afternoon.
"Chelsea Football Club will not tolerate any form of racism, nor is there a place at this club for anyone found to have engaged in such behaviour," the statement further read.
Tottenham too vowed to fight such behaviour, and promised to work with Chelsea in identifying the perpetrators.
"The club strongly condemns any such behaviour against any player and will assist Chelsea and the relevant authorities in any way we can," read a statement from Tottenham.
Son was sent off during the match following an unsportsmanlike behaviour against Rudiger, prompting the alleged racial abuse on the German.
He also took to his social media condemn the same, with other players and managers voicing their displeasure.
Two first-hand goals from Willian settled the match, as Chelsea won 2-0.
