English Premier League side Chelsea FC is keen on signing Napoli SC central defender Kalidou Koulibaly for £100million according to reports from Italy.
The Senegalese defender’s agent has reportedly had discussions with the London club with Tottenham Hotspurs the other club interested in his services according to Corriere del Mezzogiorno (via Daily Star).
The defender’s agent has spoken with both clubs and a deal could be struck to bring him to England for a fee of around £100 million.
The 28-year-old has been a bedrock of Napoli’s defence and has been at the club since 2014, and has been linked with a move quite often with Manchester United having been the team said to be after his services in the last summer before they acquired Harry Maguire.
The defender’s price tag is based on the period he has on his contract with the player’s current deal having three years remaining in his deal.
Napoli has been having internal club problems with rumors strife that they might lose a chunk of players after the departure of Carlo Ancelotti who is said to be keen on bringing some of his former players at Everton.
