Zambia national team striker Lazarus Kambole will be out for a week after he suffered a head injury in Kaizer Chiefs 3-0 win over Highlands Park on Wednesday.
Kambole made way for Dumisani Zuma just 21 minutes into the match as he struggled to carry on following a clash of heads with Highlands' Sello Motsepe.
"Yes am feeling better now. I have been given a week off," Kambole told Futaa Zambia in an exclusive interview.
Kambole has struggled to hit the ground running in Naturena and was hoping to get his first goal for Amakhosi when he made a rare start for the Ernst Middendorp tutored outfit.
Prior to his move to the PSL side, Kambole was on song for Zambia Super League defending Champions Zesco United and was named as the fans player of the season at the end of the 2019 transitional League.
