West Ham United have reached an agreement with Benfica to sign Gedson Fernandes on an 18-month loan deal.
The Chelsea target will now fly to London to seal the move. His loan deal is without an option for a permanent transfer.
According to Daily Star, West Ham have been in negotiations with the Portuguese giants for some time and there has been interest from a host of other clubs, including rivals Chelsea and Everton.
Benfica initially turned down West Ham's loan bid with the obligation to sign Fernandes for £33m.
