Watford have received a massive boost with the return of striker Danny Welbeck who has resumed training with squad according to Evening Standard Sport reports.
Welbeck who joined The Hornets from Arsenal last summer has been on the sidelines after he sustained a hamstring injury in October 2019.
Prior to the injury, the 29-year-old was enjoying good form at Vicarage Road after featuring in five Premier League games - now he is looking forward to hitting the ground running.
His injury return comes at the right time for Watford who won three of their last four League matches but are still struggling to move up the table.
Watford are also reportedly looking for a defender with Barcelona youngster Jean-Clair Todibo and Amiens captain Prince Gouano identified as possible transfer targets.
