Ahead of their English Premier League clash against Liverpool on Sunday, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that Eric Bailly could be back in the squad for the crunch time fixture.
This will be a welcome to the defensive department for Solskjaer who is missing Axel Tuanzebe through injury and Marcos Rojo who is not considered for selection amid a possible transfer this month.
Speaking in a press conference ahead of their FA Cup clash against Wolves, Solskjaer provided an injury update on Bailly, "He's very close, he might be back for the weekend.
"We've got a game arranged today with the reserves, so he'll play that one. Hopefully, he'll get 90 minutes, because he didn't feel any after-effects from the game on Friday so he might be ready for Liverpool."
United welcome Wolves in their FA Cup third-round replay on Wednesday night and travel to Anfield on Sunday as the only team to have taken a point off Liverpool in the Premier League.
