🌯 Monday Futaa Five wrap: CR7, Salah & Håland steal the show, Silva hits a City landmark

Another eventful weekend on Planet Football saw some of the brightest stars shine on the biggest stages.

🇵🇹 Cristiano in 7th heaven

The Portugal legend became the first Juventus player to score in seven consecutive Serie A matches since David Trezeguet in December 2005. Juve beat Parma 2-1 to extend their lead at the summit of the table to four points over Inter Milan. Cristiano seems to be hitting peak form at just the right time, as he so often does.

🎯 Håland begins with a bang

What an incredible debut for 19-year-old Erling Håland. The teen sensation was introduced as a substitute with Borussia Dortmund trailing 3-1 at Augsburg on 56 minutes. 23 minutes later, the Black & Yellows were 5-3 up. Håland is the first Dortmund player to score a hat-trick on debut since Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang did just that in 2013, also achieving the feat against Augsburg. We'll be watching BVB closely as a mouthwatering round of 16 Champions League tie against PSG approaches in the horizon.

🔥 Salah breaks his United duck as Reds go 16 clear

It was a long time coming, but Mo has finally scored against Manchester United. As a Liverpool player, the Egyptian has now scored against 23 of the 24 Premier League teams he has faced more than once in the competition.

💼 Bayern means business

We all know about the Bavarian team's pedigree and it seems they won't go away in the Bundesliga title race without a fight. Their 4-0 win away to Hertha Berlin moves them to second on the table, four points behind RB Leipzig. Bayern has won four matches on the trot and is finding form at just the right time to make an assault on domestic and European honours again.

Bayern faces Leipzig in the Bundesliga on 9 February and Chelsea in the Champions League round of 16 later in the month. February will be a decisive period for Lewandowski and co.

🌃 Silva reaches EPL landmark

David Silva became the first player in Man City's history to reach 300th Premier League appearances for the club, while Kun Aguero scored his 250th goal for the club in his 360th appearance. The legendary duo's efforts weren't good enough to deliver all three points though as City drew 2-2 with Crystal Palace. Pep's side's focus will now be on the Champions League.
