FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samba Samoura is expected to tour Uganda early next week, Futaa has learnt.
Samoura will be the chief guest during the official opening of Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) offices in Mengo, Kampala. She will also pay a courtesy call to the Uganda Parliament speaker Rebecca Kadaga.
The visit comes slightly over a month since FUFA president Moses Magogo finished his two-months suspension slapped on him by FIFA over 2014 World Cup tickets. Magogo was indicted for illegally selling the Brazil 2014 tickets.
The FIFA Ethics committee found the president personally liable for the improper selling of the tickets allocated to FUFA. During his suspension, his deputy Justus Mugisha assumed his responsibilities.
