Tunisia forward Bassem Srarfi is in Belgium as he closes in a move to top side Zulte Waregem from French Ligue 1 club OGC Nice.
Srarfi has fallen down the pecking order at Patrick Vieira-coached Nice and has decided to seek more playing time elsewhere.
French media reports that Zulte has been tracking the Carthage Eagles striker and has decided to swoop in the January transfer window. He has drawn admiration from Nimes and Dijon but chose to cross over to Belgium to kick start his career.
Srarfi last played for OGC Nice on October 30 last year in the 3-2 loss at Le Mans in French League Cup. He has played for the club 53 times scoring four times. He has been capped by Tunisia 18 times and scored once.
