Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Duncan was handed his Fiorentina debut in the side's 5-1 victory over Sampdoria on Sunday, Goal reported.
Duncan joined Fiorentina from fellow Serie A club Sassuolo on Deadline Day (January 31) but was unable to make his debut then following a hamstring that kept on the sidelines since the start of 2020.
The 26-year-old played 71 minutes of action before he was withdrawn for Marco Benassi, and the loud cheers from the fans proved that he had an exciting first game for La Viola.
He made a 100% success rate with his long shots and dribbles; both attempts were from two.
Duncan also made 40 touches and 25 accurate passes in the game which resulted in an 86.2% rating.
