Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has urged his teammates to put behind their 3-0 loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The Blue lost at home to the German side in a largely disappointing night, with Serge Gnabry and Robert Lewandowski doing the damage with the goals.
The result left the home side with a mountain to climb in the second leg away at the Allianz Arena, but the Italian has urged his teammates to keep their hopes high and push in areas.
“Yeah, of course," he said in response to the question on whether they should not allow the defeat to demoralize them.
“It is really tough for the changing room, for us, but we have other competitions and we still have another game.
“Anything can happen because in football you never know. We just have to believe in ourselves, don’t put our heads down.
“We need to keep working, keep pushing because we are a good team. We need to believe, work hard and be together," he added.
Chelsea are still in the FA Cup and are pushing for a top-four finish in the Premier League with 11 matches to go.
The midfielder will miss the return leg due to suspension after he picked up yet another yellow card in Tuesday night's defeat.
