Man United duo likely to miss Derby clash

Manchester United duo of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James is likely to miss Thursday night's FA Cup tie away to Derby County due to injuries.

Wan-Bissaka, who played the whole 90 minutes on Sunday against Everton, is said to have picked a back problem during the match, while James, who missed the clash at Goodison Park is nursing a knock.

“Yeah [James will] probably miss out on this one as well and Marcus and Paul are still out and I think Aaron might be struggling,” Ole said at his pre-match press conference.

“He's got a test today, but he struggled in our last game against Everton with his back, so he might be out.

“Paul's still working with the physios outside and he won't be training with the first team until next week. So then let's see how long that will take, but he'll need some time to train to get his football fitness back.”

There was a further positive update on Rashford, who has been missing since mid-January with a back problem.

“As [with] any player, he wants to be fit as quickly as possible and play as soon as possible,”

“If that means playing in April if he’ll be fit for us towards the end of the season, fantastic. If it takes longer, it takes longer," Solskjaer added.

The Norwegian will have an almost an entire squad to pick from on Thursday night, with the likes of  Axel Tuanzebe and Tim Fosu-Mensah having successfully navigated through their Under-23 clash against Stoke City on Monday night.
