Liverpool winger Sadio Mane is confident his side will respond like 'champions' following back to back defeats to Watford and Chelsea.
Liverpool suffered a 1-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League in Spain, a deficit they believe they can overturn in the return leg fixture at Anfield. Jurgen Klopp's men bounced back, beating stubborn West Ham United 3-2 in a Premier League encounter. However, over the weekend, the Reds' unbeaten run was ended by Watford as they suffered a 3-0 shock defeat at Vicarage Road.
This was followed by a 2-0 defeat at the Stamford Bridge in the hands of Chelsea, a result that saw Liverpool wave goodbye to the FA Cup. And forward Mane has put his eyes on weekend's clash with Bournemouth.
"We have another important game on Saturday [against Bournemouth] and then on Wednesday [against Atletico], so we will be ready and we will be back again," he said.
"This can happen in football and we are used to it. We just have to keep working hard and keep going if we want to be great champions," he added.
Liverpool will host Bournemouth at Anfield on Saturday 7th starting from 3:30 PM EAT.
