Sudan national team coach Hubert Velud has included Italy-based Ammar Taifourinhis 26-man provisional squad that will take on Ghana in 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
However, it is not clear if AS Bastia's Taifour will link up with the Sudanese team since Italy is under lockdown and travel is heavily restricted as the deadly coronavirus continues to wreak havoc.
Italy has suspended all sporting activities as over 10,000 infections has been confirmed with 631 deaths reported.
Sudan is preparing to face Ghana in Group C match in Cape Coast on March 28 before hosting the return in Khartoum three days later.
This is Velud's first squad after taking over the reins from the sacked Zdravko Logarusic in January.
Sudan started their campaign with a 4-0 win against São Tomé and Príncipe before falling 1-0 away to South Africa. Ghana who have won their two games are top of the Group with six points.
