News out of the SuperSport United camps says Ghampani Lungu has done enough to strike a handsome four-year new deal.
The 21-year-old Zambian arrived highly-rated from Power Dynamos to deliver blitz performances in a makeshift right-back position.
Lungu’s biggest highlight further came in an inspired performance against the mighty Orlando Pirates where he scored a late goal to seal a 3-0 win in the MTN8 quarter-finals.
A source close to the club has whispered that Lungu has followed after two of the club’s prized youngsters Sipho Mbule and Tebogo Mokoena with new deals.
"SuperSport United have the intention to keep most of their youngsters including Tebogo Mokoena and Sipho Mbule on long-term contracts," the source told KickOff.com.
"The club has also tied their Zambian midfielder Lungu on a four-year contract."
