Ex-Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jarvis Peprah has called for the clubs Director Dr Kwame Kyei to simply step down from his position.
Peprah believes that the club’s poor spell and overall success is only the beginning of a trend that will continue to embarrass and tarnish Dr Kyei.
The Portpine Warriors also recently lost a key managerial figue in Edmund Ackah who resigned. “Dr Kwame Kyei has done his best for the club but I think it is time for him to go and hand over the team to his Royal Majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu II,” Peprah told Happy FM.
“There is a lot going on with the club, players are complaining and not happy, there are issues with player transfers, strike sponsorship and many others. This all shows management has failed.
“We all have to check whether the team is progressing or not. There have been too many complaints about the management style of Kotoko which should be a concern.
For someone like Edmund Ackah to resign should tell you that all is not well with the club. He has done his part and I think he should just go to Manhyia and hand over the team,” he added.
