Former Karela United head coach Prosper Nartey has opened on what was a shock exit following less than a month at the helm of the Anyinase-based club, Ghanasoccernet club.
Nartey was brought in to replace Johnson Smith who went to join Asante Kotoko before the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season kicked off.
According to the former coach, the club did not respect his tactics and ideas despite a promising future with the side.
"I left Karela United FC because of some misunderstanding. The club wasn’t ready to accept my philosophy, plans and demands," he told Yes FM.
"Some of the old players' performance wasn’t convincing to my standard, which some of those old players thought they are seniors and therefore they deserve to be there.
"I will advice the club administrator to stop imposing player on coaches and this is because the coach would be blamed when the results are not coming."
Nartey is currently the head coach of WAFA.
