Texan FC have officially become a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League club after winning the Eastern Region Division and paying the due joining fees.
The club nearly lost out on the promotion after it had failed to make the payment during the February deadline. The league confirmed the transaction and official admission in a released statement.
“The Premier Soccer League Emergency Committee has resolved to admit Tenax FC as a member of the Premier Soccer League after the club made full payment of the membership, subscription fee and security deposit,” said the PSL.
“The club is expected to submit its registration documents by 31 March in preparation for the 2020 Castle Lager PSL season.”
Meanwhile, WhaWha and Bulawayo City are still yet to pay their admission fees to join the top division.
