Barcelona will let midfielder Arturo Vidal leave the club in the summer with Inter Milan ready to offer the player a landing place.
Reports from Calciomercato indicate that Inter has been following Vidal for some time now and were unsuccessful in an attempted swoop for the 32-year old last summer.
Barca is willing to let Vidal leave if any team can match their £18million asking price with Inter confident that it is a price they can afford.
Vidal is said to have targeted a move in the January window but a change of manager jeopardizes his move with the Chilean having been keen to leave the club in search of more game time.
Vidal has started just 13 games this season for the Catalonia giants scoring six goals in LaLiga but his efforts have not been enough with Barca having a chunk of players who can play in the same positions.
Vidal’s agent Fernando Felicevich is thought to be eager to facilitate a transfer at the end of the campaign with the negotiations expected to be easy as another of Felicevich client in Alexis Sanchez having joined the team last summer.
Conte is hopeful of recruiting Vidal after both worked in Juventus with Barca expected to use the player as part of the deal of striker Lautaro Martinez who is increasingly being linked with a move to Laliga.
According to a report from Corriere Dello Sport, apart from Vidal, Barcelona is willing to part with Arthur, Jean-Clair Tobido, Carles Alena and Nelson Semedo in order to reduce their exorbitant wage bill.
