Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League upcoming rookies Whawha claim to have completed financial registration to the elite division.
Similarly to Tenax FC who missed the February payment deadline after winning the lower division championship. Whawha’s unnamed businessman has said the payment has gone through.
“We paid the amount yesterday through the assistance of a Harare based businessman who bailed us out. We have already sent proof of payment,” he said.
“We are grateful, and we hope to be able to meet the remaining costs of playing in the league,” added WhaWha chairman Watson Matara.
Meanwhile the new league season campaign is moved back a further two months due to the coronavirus outbreak in Zimbabwe.
