Netherlands U21 international Kaj Sierhuis has admitted that he would like to play in the Premier League and picked Liverpool as a possible dream destination.
Sierhuis kickstarted his football career at the Ajax Amsterdam Academy where he scored 22 goals from 41 appearances; he made two appearances for the senior team.
The 21-year-old was then shipped out on loan to FC Groningen, scoring six goals in the Eredivisie before making the move to Stade Reims in January 2020.
“The Premier League has been a dream all my life," he told Fox Sports as translated by Football Oranje.
"I love the English football culture, the full stadiums and the experience of a day going to football is the best thing there is. Liverpool has been my favourite club since childhood. It will be a dream to ever earn that.”
Sierhuis made one appearance for Reims before the season was suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak.
