Spanish giants Barcelona have been urged by former player Xavi to rival Manchester United in the pursuit of Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
Sancho has been linked with a move to United this summer as Ole Gunnar Solslkjaer plans to reinforce his attacking option ahead of next season. Xavi, who is the current manager of Qatar Stars League football club Al Sadd, says Neymar and Serge Gnabry would also be ideal signings for the Catalans.
"I would sign wingers. Players like Neymar – I don’t know if he would fit because of the social aspect, in a football sense I have no doubts he would be a spectacular signing," he said.
"Barcelona have good players through the middle but they lack wingers like the ones Bayern have. They don’t need a lot of new players: Jadon Sancho, Serge Gnabry."
The 20-year-old is set for a summer exit and Dortmund could raise as much as £120million through the winger’s departure.
