On Tuesday 21st, League One clubs will have a meeting to discuss the progress made towards a deal with the PFA over player wages and whether the 2019/2020 season should end immediately.
The EFL has asked clubs how much funding they will need to remain solvent through to the start of September 2020. Earlier in the month, EFL sent a detailed email to its clubs, showing how they plan to see out the league in just 56 days.
Earlier reports claimed that there are concerns that no clubs in League One or Two are able to pay April, May and June’s payroll without financial help.
The video conference call is due to take place at 3:00 PM EAT today.
