Manchester United have been chasing for the signature of Jack Grealish and former Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish has revealed how the Red Devils have plenty of history with the club's superstar.
It's more than a decade since United started showing interest and making attempts to sign Grealish when he was just 16 years old. The Red Devils are once again linked with a summer move for the 24-year-old as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a long-time admirer and, according to our colleagues at Manchester Evening News, the Norwegian will submit a hefty bid when the summer transfer window reopens.
"When we played Man United we heard he was in a restaurant being courted by one of the agents to try and get him to Man United," McLeish told the Claret and Blue podcast about a meeting in 2012."
Before the Premier League was suspended, he had netted seven goals while providing six assists.
