Arsenal great Dennis Bergkamp has hailed Thierry Henry as the best forward he'd ever seen during his time at the club.
The former Netherlands international told Arsenal's Lockdown podcast just how good Henry was.
"There were players who could finish it off... Wright was one of those players, Anelka was one of those players but Henry was maybe the best player in that role that I've ever seen.
"It was so easy to have a connection with him because on every level he can be the best. He was the best at a certain time so he was easy to play with."
The former Ajax Amsterdam assistant coach said that Henry was one of the players who had a made difference whenever he was on the pitch.
"I always said it's a team game and in those teams, you need certain players who can make the difference," Bergkamp said. "
Bergkamp joined Arsenal in 1995 making over 300 appearances and scoring 87 goals. He helped the club win three Premier League titles, four FA Cup trophies, and reach the 2006 UEFA Champions League Final, which marked his last appearance as a player.
