Borussia Dortmund have defender star player Jadon Sancho over claims that he broke the social distancing guidelines.
The player, and six of his teammates, took a photo with hairdresser while out getting hair cuts with their face masks off.
This goes against the guidelines under which the Bundesliga league resumed, sparking a conversation on and offline.
The club's sports director Michael Zorc has however defended the act, further revealing they have addressed the matter with the involved players.
"He should not have done it," said Zorc said on Thursday. "We were all young once, 18, 19, 20."
"In this current special situation, it is not only the coach and the coaching staff but the entire club that has to be careful with discipline.
"We have talked to all those involved and they assured us that all hygiene guidelines regarding visitors were adhered to. Only for the photo were the masks taken off. That is something that should not have happened of course."
The league has continued without any interruptions ever since it resumed on May 16 following weeks' of suspension owing to the coronavirus pandemic.
One of the guidelines is to ensure social distance and having the faces masks on at all times.
