Hellas Verona manager Ivan Juric heaped praises on Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu for his outstanding performance against Cagliari.
“I wanted to play more with the ball to feet and the midfielders pushing up, like Emmanuel Badu and Sofyan Amrabat, so Zaccagni was more suitable for that role," Football Ghana reported.
“These lads enjoy spending time together, playing football and training, so I didn’t have problems getting them working again. The only issues we had after the lockdown was in terms of fitness and injuries.
“I want to single out Badu because he really has been through everything over the last year.
"He was in the hospital, he lost his sister, he has been through so many things recently, but he was an absolute professional.”
