Borussia Dortmund have clarified that wantaway Jadon Sancho was in England with the club's knowledge quashing speculations about the winger's future.
The former Manchester City youth was spotted enjoying time with friends in the UK on Saturday night.
Dortmund’s director of media and communication, Sascha Fligge, insists it’s nothing to do with a transfer and Sancho is due to report back to training on Monday.
“It’s common and fine for players to go home before a training camp if they’re not risky,” Fligge said.
“The same goes for Jadon [Sancho]. From our point of view, the pictures that have been shown to us so far do not violate.”
Sancho has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United and the deadline on any deal is set to be tomorrow.
Dortmund travel to Switzerland next week as they begin their pre-season training camp.
