Portsmouth midfielder Ronan Curtis has been nominated for PFA League One Player of the Year award

The Republic of Ireland international Ronan Curtis has been nominated in the PFA League One Player of the Year category following his impressive displays for Portsmouth.

Curtis played a pivotal role for Portsmouth last season despite the side narrowly missing out on English Championship promotion in the play-off semifinals.

The 24-year-old registered 14 goals and eight assists in 44 appearances across all competitions last season.

Portsmouth handed the midfielder a new three-year-and-a-half deal to reward him for his award-winning performances.
