Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce set to sign two additional players with Jamal Lewis' arrival pending

Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce is reportedly considering signing two more players on loan ahead of the new season.

The Magpies completed moves for Bournemouth duo Ryan Fraser and Callum Wilson while Jamal Lewis is set to complete his medical and agree to personal terms.

Bruce is certainly taking full advantage of the ongoing transfer window (to close on October 5) and will be looking to add two additional players.

According to The Telegraph, the Magpies will be looking to sign a centre-back and another struggle to backup to Wilson while Dwight Gayle remains injured.

Bruce is making changes to his squad as they look to be a force in the 2020/21 season and improve on theIR Premier League standings; finishing 13th on the log with 55 points.
