Former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is believed to be training with non-League side Kidsgrove Athletic as per One Football reports.
The 31-year-old also went through a four-month ban which he was handed due to breaching betting rules.
Liverpool Echo revealed that Sturridge has been training with Kidsgrove Athletic as he works on his fitness while hoping to secure a move elsewhere.
“Yes, he's signed a 12-month contract," joked Kidsgrove chairman Mick Fitzjohn.
“No, he's coming down to keep himself fit and he's working hard while he finds a new club."
