Newcastle United is set to reward winger Allan Saint-Maximin with a new deal after his fine displays for the club.
The Frenchman signed a six-year deal when he signed for £16m from Nice last summer, but he's in advanced talks over an additional year and bumper pay rise and according to Sky Sports, the deal will see him become one of the club’s top earners.
The 23-year-old scored four goals in 30 appearances for Newcastle in the past season and has become a key member of the team going by his direct display.
The Frenchman has continued from where he left this season having scored one and provided an assist in the 3-1 win against Burnley in the club's last match.
His presence in the team can’t go unnoticed as the club has won 12 of the 26 Premier League games he has started, but only one of the 16 where he wasn't in the starting XI.
