Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac set for Roma move in January

Serie A side Roma are reportedly considering a move for Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac ahead of the January transfer window according to several reports.

Kolasinac was set to leave the Gunners this summer with a potential switch to Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen.

However the Bosnia international was unable to secure a deal hence he remains at Arsenal however he could potentially leave in January.

According to Italian publication Corriere dello Sport, Roma are currently monitoring the 27-year-old in their search for a new left-back and they believe he is the ideal fit for the squad.

It would make sense for him to make the move as Gunners boss Mikel Arteta makes use of Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Bukayo Saka as his preferred left-back choices.

Kolasinac has since made 108 career appearances for Arsenal across all competitions since he completed the move from German side Schalke in the summer of 2017.
