Arteta unconcerned with Aubameyang goal-drought

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is not worried about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's lack of goals in recent games.

The Gunners' captain has not found the back of the net in the last four Premier League games, but Arteta knows he will deliver soon.

Speaking on Wednesday, the Spaniard further opened up on their game-plan and how they are helping the striker with his role.

"With all the strikers, if you ask them when they don't score for three or four games if there are concerns... in my opinion he is performing right now," Arteta said.

"He could've scored again on Saturday [against Man City] in a one-on-one situation where he normally does.

"We're trying to get him in better positions as frequently as we can to give him the best possible chance. Goals will come."

The Gunners will be in action on Thursday night when they play away to Rapid  Vienna in their Europa League group opener.

They then host Leicester City in the English Premier League on Sunday, before another European home match against Dundalk next week.
